Background and Aim: In Iran's criminal policy, before the adoption of the Law on the Protection of Children and Adolescents approved in 2019, we were faced with the lack of a comprehensive law in the field of facing dangers that threaten children. By drafting the above-mentioned law, while separating childhood from adolescence and differentiating some protective measures for each of these two categories, predicting a criminal reaction in the case of the failure of caregivers and protectors of children and adolescents to perform their duties, specializing and tolerant parts Regulations have been established to deal with crimes against children and teenagers and to prevent the legitimate causes of crime from spreading to cases of child abuse. It is obvious that planning for the training of those who are assigned duties in the law, as well as the existence of interaction between the bodies that are responsible for the duties in the law, has led to the success of the criminal policy in order to provide maximum criminal and non-criminal protection for children and adolescents. It will become the basis of the new law. The purpose of the above research is to investigate the types of child abuse in the Law on Protection of Children and Adolescents approved in 2019.
Method: In this article, descriptive and analytical methods are used to collect information.
Conclusion: The research showed that it is necessary to provide conditions for children to become familiar with their rights through mass communication, conferences, seminars, etc. And those who have the duty to care and maintain him should announce. In addition, with the financial support of government organizations (welfare organization and Imam Khomeini's relief committee) and non-governmental organizations (such as: Working Children's Support Association, Mehr Hasti Children's Association, Helpless Children's Support Institute) and taking into account a special budget that has an impact plays a major role in shaping the future of children, we can hope that many criminal titles will not be realized. Because many crimes have an economic background. Therefore, it is better to nip the criminalization in the bud before its growth leads to the destruction of social order and violation of people's rights.
